Story Title: Famous Last Words
Summary: The last words of everyone are remembered
Author's Note: I have a strange fascination with the last words of people: famous, characters, whatever. So, I wondered what my characters would say right before they die. This was the result. Of course, there are spoilers - you find out how everyone dies and when. Takes place between 1972-2075.
Oh Jun Yi
May 15th, 1950 – December 3rd, 1972
“Do you hear the rain? Do you?” - To her nephew, Oh Won-wan (Geum Chan-wook) after being struck by a falling piece of equipment in the factory where they worked
Yoon Chul Hyung
June 1st, 1951 – December 3rd, 1972
“Jun Yi? Sir, how’s my wife?” - Asking a foreman about his wife, Oh Jun Yi; he had tried to push her out of the way, only to end up being hit as well; Jun Yi had died two minutes before
Lee Dae Gu
August 18th, 1958 – January 2nd, 1977
“Geum Chan-wook, you ‘re a Bastard.”/”My head hurts. I want my mom.”- Said to his friend, Chan-wook after Chan-wook wreaked the stolen car they had been driving in. Lee Dae Gu said the first sentence, and was then in a daze for several moments. When Chan-wook asked if he was alright, Dae Gu spoke again, before falling to the ground

“I’m glad.” - After being shot and asking Geum Chan-wook if he was alright, Chan-wook had replied that he was; Takara died in the hospital several hours later

“Where is that boy?” - To his maid, asking if Geum Chan-wook was coming; he had a stroke and slipped into a coma later that day

“Ling’er, I’m coming.” - Said before shooting himself in the head on the beach where he and Ling’er often visited during her final months
