Author's Note: Mae Ri comes to Aoi and Eddie as a child. Aoi finds her on Christmas Eve and believes that Mae Ri is just like Ling'er. Mae Ri's real father finds her and Aoi and Eddie are forced to give Mae Ri back. Later, Mae Ri - now harder on the outside, but still the lost little girl on the inside - finds her real family. Author's Note: I decided to do one for Taka and Jiro's complex relationship, because they are two people, who really do seem to dance around their true feelings an awful lot. Jiro, because he knows Taka will get scared and leave him if he gets too close. And Taka, because she just doesn't know how to properly say anything of that nature. He follows her around in circles and together, they make the same mistakes, but they also grow quite a bit.
