Mason finds the waves in Yuri’s hair fascinating. He finds the way his twins run through the yard beautiful. Living in their large wooden house, in the country, Mason finds himself at peace. He finds that he is needed and that he no longer has an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach. He’s at peace with his life and all the choices – good and bad – that he’s made throughout his life. He’s happy.
For the first time since Ling’er death, Mason draws.
